Our very own Tracie Martin made history over vacation at the basketball tournament. For the first time in the State of Maine history an all-female crew of officials was in place for a regional final. Tracie was joined by Gayle Pierce and Julie Mahoney to referee the Class D Girls Northern Maine Championship between Wisdom and Southern Aroostook. This year marks the 51st anniversary of the passing of Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination in any educational facility that receives federal funding. Congratulations to Mrs. Martin on being a part of this milestone!
