The 8th Grade JMG along with other JMG classes at Narraguagus Jr/Sr High are once again raising funds to help support the Turkey-aThon, through participation in the 'Taters & Gravy' competition. Various schools in Washington County are competing to win the coveted Taters & Gravy trophy that will be proudly displayed throughout the year! Our students have been hard at work learning about marketing, promotion and community service and are looking forward to learning which first period class will win the grand prize! The winner will be announced at the end of the collection period, which will be 10/6.
Last year we helped a turkey get his tail. This year we are hoping to dress our Mr. Potato Head in something a bit more fancy than what he is currently showing. For every $50 raised, we will add an accessory! We have some fabulous artists, so let's put them to work and make this Mr. Potato Head the best looking one Narraguagus has to offer! Though - can he beat last year's turkey?!
We will gladly accept donations - just send them on in with any 7th-12th grade student that attends our school, or even flag down a staff member. Let's help our students continue to do great things this year, while giving back to our community!"
