Today's high school baseball and softball games have been cancelled due to the weather. Make up day is tomorrow, May 2nd at 2pm. The JV baseball and softball games on Friday, May 5th will now start at 4. The bus will leave at 2.

Tuesday, April 25th is Spring Sports Picture Day for high school athletes. Photos can be ordered by going to pictureday.207photo.com, entering access code NHSSPRING23, and leave your contact info. You'll be sent a message when images are uploaded.

This weeks track and field meet at Ellsworth will be on Friday, 4/28, not Thursday. The meet will start at 3:30.

Austin Rusecky has been named the 2023 DAR Good Citizen of Narraguagus Jr./Sr High School. Recently Austin, his mother, Hillary, and Principal MaryEllen Day, attended a reception hosted by the Hannah Weston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, where he was recognized. Congratulations, Austin!

The high school baseball game scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled. The softball game will still be played.

NEXT WEEK PRACTICE INFORMATION: Jr High Baseball: Monday-Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm at Worcester Wreath Field House in Columbia Jr High Softball: Monday 3:00-4:30 at Bigelow Field. Coach will be in contact with players for the rest of the week for practice.

Looking for bakers! The class of 2025 is having a bake sale on Friday, April 7th at 2pm at Bayside Supermarket in Milbridge. We are looking for the following items: Pies, cakes, and breads as well as cookies/bars, cupcakes, or rolls packaged by the 1/2 or 1 dozen. Do you have a special dessert that you’d like to donate? It is officially Spring and time for the Annual Student Art Exhibit held at the Schooner Gallery in Milbridge! It will be our 8th year showing work in the professional (and beautiful!) gallery space there and we have an extraordinary group of students exhibiting this year. Please join us for the opening reception at the gallery from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday, May 12th. If you are unable to make the reception, no worries! The exhibit will run through Monday, June 5th. Prepare to be awed! Hope to see you on May 12th.

Thank you to MAMM (Maine Academy of Modern Music) and Jeff Shaw for bringing the Mallett Brothers Band to Narraguagus today! Students enjoyed the concert and got the chance to ask the band questions during the performance. Thank you for bringing music to our school!!

Wrestling Under the Dome takes place Saturday, April 8th. Doors open at 6:00. Bell rings at 6:30. To purchase tickets call 263-4543 or 412-3306. All the money raised stays local. Come on out for a night of entertainment.

The Student Government Red Cross Blood Drive is this Thursday, March 23rd, from 2-6 in the cafeteria. We are short 10 donors so if you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to Ms. Foote/The Student Government or go to redcross.org to directly sign up. Your donation saves lives and if you are a student, earns you 2 hours of community service (age 16 and up with parental waiver). Thank you for your support.
