JR HIGH PRACTICE SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER - Times are subject to change.
There will be a Jr. High parents meeting on Wednesday Nov 13 at 7:00. This is a time to discuss the new changes and answer questions. Parent also will be meeting with their athlete's coach for guidelines and expectations. Schedules will be handed out at that time.
Girls Jr. High Basketball will practice with high school coaches on Tuesday, November 12th from 2:30 - 3:30 at Narraguagus. Boys Jr High Basketball will practice with high school coaches on Tuesday, November 12th from 4:30 - 5:30 at Narraguagus.

A NOTE FROM MRS. LYFORD, JR HIGH ATHLETIC COORDINATOR -
Due to some confusion, I wanted to clarify how our new Jr High sports program will work at the Junior High level at Narraguagus . We have a new configuration, community driven and school board approved. We are a public educational facility and we will NOT be cutting athletes at this level. We will have open gym (mandatory) for any jr high student who wishes to play, this isn't for "cutting", it's for assessing talent so the teams can be as even as possible. Siblings will not be separated. Practices will rotate through our elementary schools with games held at DWM. Games start for MSAD #37 on Dec. 9. We will have Maroon and White teams both boys and girls. Numbers will be around 10 on each team.
Open gym times are Wednesday Nov. 6 and Thursday Nov. 7, girls 3:30-5, boys 5:30 -7 at Narraguagus. Paperwork must be in (athletic code, and physical). If you have questions, call me. 207-483-2746

NJHS will have a mandatory open gym at Narraguagus on November 6 and 7. Girls from 3:30 - 5 and Boys from 5:30 -7 both days. This is for any junior high student who wants to play basketball.
All paperwork must be in before you can participate.

Congratulations to the Lady Knights volleyball team. They beat GSA in 3 sets last night and will be playing for the Class C State Championship on Saturday at 1pm at Hampden Academy. They will take on Machias.
If you plan on going to the game, please take note - they will NOT be taking CASH at the game. The MPA is strongly encouraging people to order tickets online. Come cheer on the Lady Knights on Monday, October 28th as they take on Bucksport in a home quarterfinal volleyball game. Play starts at 5pm. Admission is $3 for students, $5 for adults.
On Thursday, October 24th the DAC JV Volleyball Championship will be held at Calais High School! The first match starts at 3:30. The Lady Knights will play at approximately 5:30. Please note that you will not be able to enter the parking lot until 2:30, after the buses leave for the day. Admission will be charged. See the schedule for more information.
The Flu Clinic will take place Tuesday, October 22nd from 12:30 - 2:00, for those students who have brought back their permission slips.
